Allergies…my dog gets that too. The vet can give the dog a shot that will help.

First thing is where are the sores? On the top of the paw or on the paw pads, or between the toes. I will try to answer covering all three possibilities. If the sores are on the top of the paws, check for skin mites, fleas or other type of bug bite irritation. If it is mites go to the vet, as it can be the beginning stages of mange. If it is due to bug bites then keep the area clean and take care of whatever kind of pests are invading your home. If it on the paw pads, look for cuts, or abrasions that could be caused by something you pup stepped on. Then track in down in your yard or walking path and eliminate the hazard. If it between the toes, then check for irritants like plant seeds, small pebbles, or anything else that may of been picked up. Also consider that if yours is hairless it could be a sunburn. Chinese Crested (hairless variety) have minimal protection from the sun. Allergies are also a possibility. If you have exhausted all the possiblities that it could be then go to your vet. Ring worm is also a possibility.
