Chinese crested are getting quite popular now. It might be possible to find a reputable breeder closer to you. A requtable breeder would not ship a puppy cross country to someone they haven’t met or at least had checked out. Yes, shipping a pup that young is extremely stressful on theym.

my partner and i bought a scottish terrier from NSW. i live in Victoria (australia). they bloke drove the four hours to us and we met up with him and he gave us all the papers etc. unfortunatly tho, our scottie was attacked by a dog so he is no longer with us.
But a respectable breeder would want to meet you in person, and so you or him/her would drive out, instead of sticking it on a plane scared to death.

when ur dog arrives just treat it kindly ….the first thing u should do is give it a really good meal then take it on a nice walk in a quite suburb if possible…..if not just give it lots of attention

I have a chinese crested powderpuff (they have hair) and she is the cutest thing ever. These are very lovable dogs. She is the most happy and playful dog I’ve ever had. She is taking longer to train than my other dogs. She knows sit and stay and potties outside, but at 9 months old still has an occassional accident. She does have the softest thinnest white fur but does not shed. A great dog. I got her locally. She was rescued from a puppy mill. You can find these dogs on petfinder.com in your area. Good Luck
