Cranberry Dog’s Chinese Cresteds
Gucci has been a single dog in your family for a little while now used to getting everything for herself and having all the attention even tho you are equaling giving both of the dogs attention gucci was still used to getting all the attention so what may seem equaly to you may not be enough to her. (Its like having a one child for so long then bringing another younger sibling in. the older child just isn’t used to sharing everything exspeicially the attention). and also gucci is older and may not want to tolerate the puppies actions. louie may want to play while gucci wants to be calm… play with them together let them interact together put them outside or in a crate together don’t seperate them that way they will start to get used to each other let gucci know that louie is okay and give them treats when they get along and praise her let her know she is doing good when she is being nice to the puppy. good luck…

Giving Gucci more attention is just reinforcing the problem. When Gucci is acting up just take her into another part of the house immediately and don’t say anything. When she calms down bring her back, as soon as she starts up take her away and ignore her. She will get the idea after a while.

I like the personality of a chinese crested dog. They are so sweet.
