    Could your Chinese Crested have the same problem as your other dog? Both dogs need to be checked by a vet. There is more than one type of mange and Sarcoptic mange is contagious and people can get it too.

    That is a crested trait. They love to roll in any nasty thing. And they can climb like monkeys (no wonder their feet look like that!). If the dog is older some odor might be coming from his mouth. The hairless varieties loose teeth and have gum problems which add to the smell. My only advice is to try to keep him in or else on a leash to prevent rolling in nasty stuff. I know they are almost impossible to housebreak, but if possible keep him in.
