I've tried that before leaving a scar and only a slight redness that lasted for some time! You also need to know to avoid it becoming! But thanks nevertheless Hi this is a Bella Cullen: I love my chihuahua, but never get one again! She is having bad absolutly scared and shy to strangers, which I understand to be only 3 pounds in this big world! But with me having a one years ago was a bit difficult! Now I am lucky that my son is rought with our dogs or any kind of animal but would not again! Not that its not a nice breed! Just feed the dog as the smallest and the worst may be scared! Not that! What a little dogfood recommander yet? I live out in the fifth pine Kansas walmart and stuff are the closest around here! But try these things and finally I will see where the take! Join the website and you gave me too! Thank you all so much So I have just google some of the foods that you sent me and I was wondering if you recommand dry food preserved? Do you also, what is matter? Like a lamb and rice and so on! Thank you so much you helped me so much and I hope that my child will benefit from it too soon

You should call your vet.
Are you sure they are blackheads? They could be beauty marks, or just how your dogs skin is.
The safest way to control this problem is to call your vet, or bring her for a checkup. If your really sure they are blackheads, you should ask for their opinion on what to do/use. If you don’t know for sure, stop by there.
It’s also the easiest, most harmless, best way, to control this situation in a non chemical way.
Btw ; i’m looking into getting a chihuahua, is yours friendly towards other people/strangers or does it depend on how you train your chihuahua? Thank you so much =)

wash your dog with baby shampoo, a couple times a week, until they are healed up. The vet, may need to prescribe some antibiotics and you need to keep her sleeping area very clean to clear up all the bacteria that she is coming into contact. They have medicated shampoo but, it smells real bad. So try the baby shampoo, first

She is probably going thru teenage acne.
Feed high quality food.. no corn, grans, gluten, colors, by-products, artificial preservatives, etc.
Keep clothing and bedding clean.
Use either a gentle ****** cleanser, or moisturizing pet shampoo.. use a lotion that doesnt clog pores (eucerine,curel, etc) You can also use olive oil to moisturize the skin… after a bath apply the oil to the skin and wrap the dog in a towel for 10-15 mins while the skin absorbs it.
if she has dry skin you can also use a sugar scrub to help exfoliate the skin.
Since its more likely “teenage” acne, your best bet is to keep the skin clean and moisturized. If things dont improove as she matures, then you can consider trying some ******* and other shampoos. Some of the ****** masks and shampoos can be drying to the skin, which is why I prefer not to try them at first.
Some other things you can also try.. make a mixture of yogurt and honey, and apply to the skin, I beleive its about 1 cup yogurt and one tablespoon honey.. put on the skin, leave on for 10 mins, then wash off. Some people have had luck with this.
Also another suggestion is “listerhazel” Mix 50/50 witchazel, which is a natural astrigent to the original brown listerine (the flavored kinds will make the skin sticky).. some people swear by this.. I havent had much luck using this on my Crested, but I find its great to freshen his skin between baths.. I put some in a spray bottle and spritz it on his skin.
It will take some trial and error to find what works best for her skin.. dont pick tho, you will just irritate the skin more, which can make it worse.

I dont reccommend antibiotics for blackheads.. I can maybe see for severe acne cases, skin that just wont heal or improove despite regular grooming, good diet, etc.. but not for blackheads.
Check around to petshops and feed stores.
I cant think of anything at Walmart that I’d feed.

we had the same problem, but we stopped feeding her dog food, cooked vegetables and a lot of raw fruit, she is so fine now
i have a chinese crested puppy, and he has really bad acne. i fear it is causing him pain…i’ve started to use the bed time baby shampoo mixed with a bit if face wash, then i dry him off and moisturize him with baby lotion. i think it is just teen age acne, you dogs acne should pass, as will mine. my method helps the acne a little, but does more for the pain. and it helps him sleep.
my chinese crested has terrible blackheads ive exfoliated shes had antibiotics ive used a steamer but they are not getting better she has millions of them ! its a shame !before i was a nurse i was a qualified beautytherapist so have tried all the natural remedies with no luck as yet? apparantly there is a lotion from usa called seabreeze has anyone tried it?
