laser381 asked:
I am considering the Chinese Crested dog breed, but I have a large cat and foster bunnies waiting for adoption. Cat and bunnies are indoor-only, and the bunnies are allowed free running time in the house. I am hoping to find an adult Chinese Crested through a rescue group, but want to be sure the breed is very likely to be tolerant of or oblivious to the bunnies. (The cat can hold his own.) Does this breed generally do well with small animals? Thanks!

They envy the other animals for their fur coats.
Those dogs are timid and shy and won’t bother anything.
The bunnies might attack it vicously though, just kidding.
Ask a Chinese crested dog breeder if they can tolerate other pets.
All of the cresteds I have known were fosters. One of them was naturally pretty playfull in the foster home (there were 5 other dogs and two cats there). The females had abuse and neglect problems, so it took a lot of work to bring the dogs around. The fosters are associated with Crest Care, a rescue group.
If properly socialized with them they may well do fine
i don’t know what a chinese crested dog is sorry
The Chinese Cresteds that I have known have all been very sweet, gentle dogs. I think they would be absolutely fine with other small animals. Good luck finding a rescue though – they are a rare breed and I don’t know anyone who’s ever given one up.
