My husband brought home a female patient, pregnant for about 3-4 weeks. She had puppies 10 days ago, two without hair, a blow dryer and three short. She has been to the vet three times and is now Cephalexin. Are the intestinal worms, heartworm there are now clear. We are waiting until she has shot weaned their babies. It is up to 11lbs. Two questions – Make "of the teeth; age" in this caste equal than others? Seem the dog's teeth are 7-8, but people swear that it was 1 or 2. These puppies are huge! I can 't imagine what she grew up with. Can hybrids be inflated or bald just like the thoroughbreds on caste? The vet is unsure of the gene / loci involved in the layer. I am considering very complement these dogs just to lower the burden of the mother. She wasn 't when we get healthy. Opinions on this ¿? The mother dog is eating the Canidae of the hills and sometimes depending on what we have in the country.

Yes, mixed breed puppies can be hairless. Short coats very rarely show up in Cresteds, and are not desired.. I have only seen pics of a short haired puff, also called the terrier coat.
How the hairless gene works. The hairless gene is dominant over the puff gene. A powder puff only carries puff Genes Pp Pp. A hairless Carries both Hl Pp. The hairless gene, although dominant, is also considered lethal.. any embryo that recieves two Hl (Hl Hl) genes will not develop and will reabsorb in the mother’s body.
Most breeds of dogs contain only the Pp gene. There are a few other hairless dogs.. and the genes work the same way as the crested. All other hairless dogs have short haired puffs..a puff mexican hairless looks like your average terrier mix! The Crested is the only hairless dog with long hair.
The only exception to this rule is the American Hairless terrier.. the gene there is recessive.. they are a mutation from the Rat Terrier.
If you breed 2 puffs (cresteds, or any other breed) you will only get puffs.
If you breed a hairless and a puff (any breed), you can get any combination. The hairless pups obviously got the hairless gene from the hairless parent.
If you breed a hairless to a hairless (any breed), you can get any combination, since they carry both genes.
The hairless can vary in amount of body hair. From nothing but a sparse mohawk and a few stray hairs, to what appears to be a full body coat! Some almost look like a puff.. the only difference is that the coat is a fine single layer, instead of the thick double coat. A very hairy hairless will ussually be hairless somewhere underneath also.

chinese crested puppies
puppies inherit a variety of traits it just happens they inherited different hair traits. Chinese Crested have teeth loss and thats why their tongue sticks out. I doubt that the Chinese Crested could have puppies at 7 or 8. You can’t always guess the age through teeth, its just one of the ways when you don’t have any other information but it sometimes isnt accurate. They can be powderpuff and hairless too.
